We hire cameras, lighting, sound and studios as part of a production, or as a dry hire if you are running the day yourself. We match the room and the kit to the job instead of steering every shoot into one studio, so the useful first step is a real specification.
What a useful spec includes
- Format: camera body, lenses, recording format and frame rate, or the look you need if you would like advice.
- Days: prep, shoot and return days, and the hours of each.
- Sound: synced dialogue, playback only, or none.
- Lighting: daylight exterior, controlled studio, or night work.
- Studio needs: cyclorama, blackout, ceiling height, drive-in access, an audience, and the power the lighting plan draws.
Crewed hire or dry hire
A crewed hire sends operators and technicians with the kit: usually the safer day, because the people who prepared the equipment are the people running it. A dry hire suits a visiting team that brings its own operators; we prepare the kit, check it out with you and collect it at wrap.
Studio or the world
A cyclorama can save permit time on some stills and product days and removes the weather from the schedule. It will not replace a skyline, a real street or the desert at golden hour. Read studio versus location in the UAE before you lock a landmark.
Insurance and care
Professional kit on a professional shoot should be insured, and the filming permit file usually asks for insurance anyway. Tell us who holds the policy so the paperwork matches before the kit leaves the rental house.
