Weddings

Wedding planning

The full day, not only the flowers: venue, food, photographs, music and a timetable that keeps the ceremony from colliding with the buffet.

We plan and produce weddings in Dubai: venues, catering, photography, evening entertainment, transport, and a timetable that keeps the ceremony from colliding with the buffet. The same team can run the photographs, the food and the guest flow, which is where most wedding days go wrong when three suppliers each assume someone else is in charge.

What we handle

  • Venue: shortlisting, visits and the venue's own rules on outside suppliers, music and timings.
  • Catering: menus, service style and dietary needs, from a seated dinner to live stations. See event catering.
  • Photography and film: photographers and videographers who work with the timetable, not against it.
  • Entertainment and styling: music, lighting, flowers and the room itself.
  • Logistics: guest transport, a run sheet for every supplier, and someone on site who answers when the plan changes.

How the planning runs

  1. You send the date or a window, the guest count, the style and a budget range.
  2. We shortlist venues and suppliers and visit the ones you like.
  3. We build the run sheet: arrivals, ceremony, photographs, dinner, speeches, dancing, departures.
  4. On the day, we run it, so the couple and the families do not have to.

A celebration is not a marriage in law. In Dubai, the civil marriage service at Dubai Courts requires one partner to be a Dubai resident; visiting couples often marry legally in Abu Dhabi, where the civil marriage court accepts tourists, or arrive already married. We produce the celebration around the appointment. Our destination wedding guide sets out the official options, fees and timings.

Permits

Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism treats weddings as private activities, with a private activity permit applied for once the venue is secured. Wedding photography and video do not need a filming permit; the Dubai Film and TV Commission exempts weddings and events.

Questions

Do you plan small weddings as well as large ones?
Yes. Send the guest count: thirty at lunch and four hundred on a lawn are different days, and we plan each for what it is.
Can we book catering only?
Yes. Many couples want both planning and catering; you can book either.
Can you arrange the legal marriage?
The marriage is registered by the courts or your embassy, not by a planner. We produce the celebration around your appointment and can point you to the official routes.
Does a wedding photographer need a filming permit in Dubai?
No. The Dubai Film and TV Commission says weddings and events do not require a filming permit. Drone shots are a separate question.
